The election is over and I am pleased to report that I was the top vote-getter! Thank you to the citizens of the Rockford Park District for their support. Thanks too to my wife, friends and advisers who were at my side from the start. I look forward to serving on the board and helping mantain this tremendous asset to our community!

Well, the election is nearly upon us. I’ve spent time in recent days putting up some last minute yard signs, paying visits to service clubs, and just this morning, visiting with folks having breakfast at one of our favorite spots. One of the things I’ll take away from this campaign is the chance to meet so many fine people. It’s truly been a great experience. Thanks, everyone, for your support! CB

Well, it’s been a busy few days. I went to the Park District’s 100th anniversary bash at Rockford College Friday. This week, more service club visits and meetings with senior citizens. It’s been great to meet so many fine people during the campaign.

I’m still looking for more yard sign locations. If you would like to take a yard sign, call me and we’ll drop one off. Thanks!

Had a great day today starting with a campaign rally, lunch with key supporters and a River District mixer. With about 10 days to go before the election, we’re really kicking into high gear! CB
